The latest polls show 70% of Tea Partiers oppose cuts to Medicare/Medicaid. They only want "minimal government" in the abstract. If pressed for a list of meaningful spending cuts, they come up empty. <br /><br />The Tea Party peaked on November 2, 2010, as I have earlier indicated. Paul Ryan's plan exposes the bankruptcy of today's GOP. Tax cuts + radical changes to Medicare/Medicaid = Balanced Budget in 30 years. Huh?<br /><br />In 2009 and 2010, tax day saw large Tea Party rallies around the country - promoted and covered by Fox News. This year? Nothing. Crickets.
