Why were $400 Billion deficits so terrible but $1,400 Billion deficits are OK?

Why is health care suddenly a right?

How can a government which cannot run Welfare/Medicare/Social Security run health care?

Illegal immigration continues, should we enforce our laws?

Terrorism continues, are we at war?

Glad you asked:

Dubya inherited a $200B surplus and handed Obama a $1.3T deficit. That's terrible - as is the whole fiscal record of the GWB administration.

A $1.4T deficit is understandable when said deficit was handed to the incumbent, along with a collapsing economy. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. Obama is already bring the deficit down.

Effective universal coverage was required to get healthcare costs under control. Further, if the rest of the industrialized world can see to care for their citizenry, why can't we? The status quo sucks - #37 according to WHO yet we spend 50%+ more per capita to cover 85% of the people. The question is why did it take so long?

Government will not be running healthcare. They will be setting the rules of the road, which is the role of government.

We need to reform our immigration laws and tighten enforcement. Hopefully, the GOP won't stand in he way. Read my lips: GWB and McCain were right three years ago.

Yes. We are at war and we are delivering more setbacks to the enemy than they have seen thus far.

Stay the course. It is morning in America!
