Sort of obvious. It is the unions. They went in and spent in excess of 10 million to try to make a statement in Arkansas and they were rewarded with a significant anti union backlash.
I told you they should have used that money to help with their pension underfunding. It would be very interesting to have a poll of union members to ask them if they approve of the way their leadership spends their money given the sad state of their pensions.

I'm glad to see that Lincoln won. I like Blanche and I expects she gets an upset win this November.
Take a look at Nevada - Harry Reid effectively got reelected last night. Sharron Angle - wing nut of the first order - will be his Republican opposition.

She will be tied to Barry as will Harry. They are angry in Neveda and Harry is to blame for a lot of the mess we are in.
Blanche is down by 20 right now and makes for an easy target.
This election is shaping up to be a huge anti Barry tidal wave that will make him basically an impotent President for the next two years.

Harry would have had a tough race against a mainstream candidate. They are going to be able to make his anti-fluoride, anti-social security opponent the subject.
Lincoln is only down by 20? Mark, I woke up yesterday sure that she was going to lose to Halter by 10 or more. Lets just let Bill Clinton loose in Arkansas a week before the election and see what happens.
BTW - I like Meg Whitman in California. I'd probably vote for her over Brown, who should have retired long ago. I also like Boxer over Fiorina, who is not particularly likable or compelling.
