Raul Hector Castro

Is Raul Hector Castro still alive and living in Tucson? Wouldn't he be about 95 by now? And why isn't he still active in Arizona politics?

He'd be sharper than our current (popular) gov.

Because? You don't like her fiscal management?

You don't like her support of "the Bill"?

I don't think she is particularly bright nor do I like the image that she conveys about Arizona. When she was on the White House lawn answering questions I thought she looked like the head of the trailer park residents committee.

I have a friend that met with her in a meeting with business leaders (same friend that introduced me to Napolitano). He was amazed at her lack of familiarity with the issues. She continually had to refer to her notes in a setting that usually does not include a stack of notes.

Unfortunately, Arizona again appears to be the Kentucky of the west. Its a shame - we had made a lot of progress after the impeachment of Evan Mecham (R).

I expect Brewer to beat Goddard and we will have at least four more years of this. Our enlightened electorate may elect Andrew Thomas to AG as well, though I am hoping that is a bridge too far for the radical right.
