Today he talked about putting the stimulus through the "new green economic prism".
The man was whacked as a Rep. and now is an advisor to our economy?
How does the "O" know that green is where we should put our resources. How is this not anything but collectivism? Taking our taxes to implement a government plan? These idiot plans did not work out so well for the Soviet 5 year plans, but I forget... the "O" is so smart, he will save us.

David Bonior was "whacked?" He served 13 consecutive terms in the House and then opted to run for governor. He lost in the primary to Michigan's current Governor Granholm.
I didn't like him in Congress - he is a liberal version of Newt Gingrich - better at tearing down than building up. He's a Midwestern Henry Waxman. I am glad to see him take the green view - a lot of Rust Belt pols don't favor the environment for short sighted and cynical reasons.
God help us! We are going to have an energy policy!

We are going to have a government run energy policy. We are going to have hybrids.
However they cannot control production or predict the future and they take no risk.
