Anybody?

The present budget talks remind me how proud I am to be a conservative. The liberals offer NO spending cuts only, I repeat, only tax increases. They profess that there is no budget urgency.

I think even Baxter will have difficulty excusing such behavior, he won't

The Democrats want to talk spending cuts AND tax hikes on the wealthy. They want the whole budget on the table, not a mere 12%.

According to a recent WSJ/NBC poll, 73% of Americans do not believe Medicare should be cut to balance the budget. A poll several months ago found that 80% of the electorate favored raising taxes on the wealthy pursuant to fiscal rectitude. (I noted it in this blog when the poll was released if you want to fact check).

The Paul Ryan GOP budget cuts Medicare - turning it into a voucher system - while offering $4T more in tax cuts (primarily) for the wealthy.

Today's GOP is winning the same way that Charlie Sheen is.
