Georgia needs to go back to the drawing board. Their system had flagged 200,000+ people to prospectively remove from the roles. Of those, almost all were legitimate voters. 60%+ were non-white or Hispanic. The Justice Dept is simply saying they need to come up with a system that is accurate and will not wrongfully prohibit a disproportionate amount of minority voters.
In 2000, Florida erroneously flagged and removed 20,000+/- voters from the rolls, over two-thirds minorities. This was many of the contributing factors in the accidental election of GWB.
These kind of voter suppression policies have got to go.
