I'm glad to see GM up & running and selling some very popular models. If they fail a few years down the road, thats fine. In a normal economy, our system can efficiently process such an event.
Saving GM was imperative two years ago, as the rest of the economy was collapsing. We couldn't afford still more lost jobs and economic contraction. That danger has largely passed.
President Bush gets plaudits here for keeping GM afloat for the new administration to fully rescue. Apparently, there are few free market purists around during an economic crisis.
