How is it that the Supreme Court says it's okay to demonstrate at the funeral's of our soldiers. Men and women who have given their all for their country.
Yet it is illegal according to the same Supreme Court that we can't advertise cigarette's on television?
I just wonder? Lost faith in the court, me too.

Whatever happened to "I disagree with what you say but I defend your right to say it"?
Fred Phelps and his followers are a loathsome bunch. But they obviously have a constitutional right to free speech and peaceful assembly on public property. If they hurt someone's feelings while exercising these rights - even on purpose - they cannot be held civilly liable.
Popular speech doesn't need to be protected. Unpopular speech does. Freedom is freedom.
