Did I just hear this fool say that we need to be there because they are NOW planning attacks against us but that we would be leaving in 18 months?

I am glad that you find HOPE in Obama. Me too.
Obama is no fool. Our execution over the next 18 months, politically and militarily, will likely get more done than Dubya managed in eight years.
