A recent show on climate change discussed how, even if true, excluding low probability doomsday scenarios, climate change, according to the climate change communities own data would result in 170,000 deaths per year. Poverty, as manifested by housing, sanitation and disease kills millions each year.
The "cure" for poverty time and time again is Capitalism which as the following post demonstrates, is the true agenda of Climate Change. To change us to Socialism.

One more salient point: Carbon taxes are a very capitalist and free market approach to addressing climate change - as well as our dependence on foreign energy. Please cut and paste Arthur Laffer's (father of supply side economics) editorial espousing the approach that I have favored for more than a decade:
