Every Real American

Mr. Obama:

I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally.

You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America . You are responsible to the citizens of the United States . You are not responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the peoples of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States ? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia . You don’t show Great Britain , our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia . How dare you, sir! How dare you!

You can’t find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don’t want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey . You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What’s the matter with you?

I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it. ;

What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members – on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven’t said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn’t!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been a warded $51 million – not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven’t you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now.

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you. I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

Sincerely,

Every real American

So much to correct. One at a time:

1. It takes a man to apologize and GWB left much to apologize about. Our position in the world is enhanced when we cop to mistakes. Thats the way the world works - same with individuals.

2. We are not a Christian country. We are constitutionally secular. Neither the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence mentions Christ or Christianity. Several of our founders were Deists - not Christians.

3. Fox News spends hours on the "Bow" but little time on Bush kissing the king and holding his hand. Given the three choices, I'll take the bow.

4. Why does Obama have to go to any grave anywhere? He will visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day - thats it. Don't try to write his schedule.

5. Why not a mosque in Turkey? Personally, I'd like to win some hearts and minds in the Middle East. Don't try to write his schedule.

7. What did Dodd and Frank do while in the minority in Congress? What could they do since the GOP was in control of everything?

8. What did Raines or Gorelic do? What do you have against Fannie/Freddie? Right now, they are financing all the mortgages, along with FHA. Be specific in your complaint. Don't spend too long - you will come up empty.

9. $9.1m in staff bonuses? So what? This complaint is petty in the extreme.

10. Get over the AIG thing - everyone else has. It was a bipartisan embarrassment. Thanks to Senator Kyl, no AIG bonus bill will make its way through Congress.

I do not believe the US should apologize to any country, estpeciall see as how we are about the only country that comes to the aid when they ask.
All we need to do is follow our constitution.
Kissing the ring or the bow sucks in my opinion.
Maybe Obama needs to spend more time working in the White house vs flying around the world visiting graves
Dodd and Franks were doing a lot while in the minority in congress...how do you think we got into this mess with Freddie and Fannie, it did not happen in the last 100 days...they have been on the take for years
it is not the amount of the bonus they received and if you think 200+ million is petty or automatic raises etc then you are as messed up as they are...the point is why don't they give the money back just like AIG has to or is forced to??
All you are going to do is have to wait, and while waiting if you have kids just look at them and whisper in their ear...kids you are going to be in massive debt and good luck...we will be at 80% of GDP within the next 7 years Chew on that one

We should always apologize when we are in the wrong - again - just like individuals. You + I may disagree on whether or not there is anything to apologize for.

How did we get in this mess!? The GOP had MONOPOLY CONTROL for six years, thats how. Don't blame the powerless minority party - blame the folks that were running the place.

I don't think AIG bonuses should have been returned. I support retention bonuses. I also believe a deal is a deal.

If you complain about debt you must hate Reagan and GWB. They have brought us most of our debt today. Reagan TRIPLED the debt in his first term. Dubya doubled it in two terms. A couple of reckless fools leaving the bill for our children, wouldn't you say?

Great Rant. We are seeing a segment of America get really angry that has been silent for a long time. I believe many of these people did not even vote because they could not support McCain. The polarization of this country is accelerating due to this administrations actions alone. The stupidity of releasing the memos on enhanced interrogation techniques has shown America that our President bows to George Soros. Talk about flip flopping.

1. Those who don't vote shouldn't bitch should they? Participate or not. Pick one - there are many candidates to select from.

2. Obama's polarization is a function of his high popularity among Democrats more than low rating among the GOP.

3. Notice the latest polls showing only 21% call themselves Republican? Lowest since 1977.

Baxter...how about our boy Spector going to the Dems...now there is a true political figure we can all count on...knows he will get his ass kicked in PA as a Repb. because of his support on certain bills, so he decides to go to what he thinks will be safer waters...now there is someone you can trust and believe in...let me see I think I will put my political future before the I put the people...what a great American
