Who cares. I am sure all of the ultra left wing anti-war protests that were organized by fringe groups with ties to communist organizations were not bipartizen either.

Even if everyone at the recent protests voted for John McCain it does not make them any less valid. Protesting the out of control spending that is going on is far more patriotic and valid than going around lying about how "you support the troops but not the war".

Lets talk about the substance of the protests not attack the protesters. Taking tax payer money for the next three generations combined and spending it on socialistic left wing policies is something that upsets a lot of people in this country. They have just as much right to publicly voice their opinion as all of the left wing nutbags like Cindy Sheehan.

Are these protests less valid than all of the Mexicans who went around chanting anti-American slogans while waiving Mexican flags yet demanding legal US residency?

These protests have obviously struck an exposed nerve on the left. I think they have also struck fear in the Democratic party which would explain the vitriolic criticism that there spokespeople are exhibiting. Here is a quote from the Democratic spokesman Paul Begala. "Why are they out there whining with this Tea Party thing? Just a bunch of wimpy, whiney, weasels who don't love their country and don't want to support - there are guys at Walter Reed who gave their legs for my country, and they're whining because they have to write a check?" This coming from the party that spent a lot of energy trashing the men who served this country in battle.

Of course Begala like Rich is missing the point of the protests. I guarantee you if you asked these protesters if they minded paying their taxes to support the military they would all say NO. This Begala statement says a lot about the intellectual bankruptcy of the Left.

I agree with every word Paul Begala said. I agree that we all enjoy the right to protest. I think the Teabaggers represented the worst of America. It was a bunch of whining sore losers. If you watched some of the "man on the street" interviews you would be ashamed. It was a very motley crew. It bothers me what the rest of the world thinks when they see this stuff. The world must really suck if we are the preeminent power.
