What a joke. As these elitists bury this nation deeper and deeper in unprecedented debt levels the cost of running this White House during terrible economic times is an insult to every tax payer in this nation. I wonder if this story will ever see the light of day in the main stream liberal media.

This is the ultimate example in the arrogance and elitism that the Obama's exhibit. Does she really need to spend over 1.5 million dollars in tax payer money on over 26 assistants? Is she not aware that many American families are suffering? She is beyond wasteful!
I remember similar complaints made about Nancy Reagan. $1.5mm per year in First Lady salaries is a topic for Good Housekeeping or some other womans magazine. It is not worthy of this board. Good grief.
