Health Care Vote really!!!

The spin doctor's (yes you Jim,) somehow want to spin the election of "PlayGirl Model" Scott Brown as a anti health care vote. The State of Massachusetts HAS universal health care. Are you saying they don't want it for others?
Silly Silly!!
This I will give you, the public is sick of back room deals with Nebraska, and Louisana, and sick of high unemployment and a Government that does not listen to the electorate.
A third Party might have a real chance.
If you are an encumbent you are in trouble is the message in Massachusetts, plain and simple. This is not as hard as you may wish a return to the party of
"War by choice"
"No regulations for Wall Street"
"Big oil companies" and
"Tax cuts for the Wealthy 10% of this country"
The message of Massachusetts, Virginia, New Jersey, is Independents are going to have a big say in who is going to be elected and they are swinging to "new faces"

Terry,

Yep, voters in Massachusetts do not want nationally what they have locally. The Mass. costs are waaayyyy over what was promised. They have had the preview and they don't want to see the movie.

Brown specifically ran on (1) "I will be the 41st vote against Obamacare" (2) No Miranda rights for terrorists and no tax payer dollars for lawyers for terrorists and (3) "No more taxes, I will cut taxes to help create jobs" and (4) he railed against the back room deals.

It was perfect.

And what made it perfect is that he spoke to the center. He did not focus on Obama the person, he didn't call people names. He was very much like Reagan: cheerful, positive, and focused on traditional values. Notwithstanding the Playmate centerfold, he has a great family that supports him, he is not in airport johns soliciting blowjobs, and he doesn't have a videographer with a love child.

Pay attention to the guy because he laid down a perfect blueprint for how to win in November, regardless of party affiliation.

The Washington Post conducted a post-election survey of Massachusetts voters that asked, among other things, what the voters thought of the state's universal health coverage. The voters love it, with 68% supporting the health plan - even a slight majority of Brown voters like the law. Your preview/movie observation does not hold up.

I predict the American people will react the same way to their own universal coverage law, if only given the chance.

Clearly, the electorate doesn't like the status quo and they blame the party in power. So, shall the Democrats flight or flee? I again say they need to hang together or they will surely hang separately.

Whistling past the grave yard are we Terry?

"I will be the 41 vote against the health care bill" is what? Noncommital? Hard to read? What?

I do enjoy the new moniker.

Actually you are right Terry, the vote was not just against health care takeover, it was against the creeping Socialism of the left. Yes! The bluest of blue states said no to "o" and his altering of our country.

They also said... pontificate all you wish, but don't place us in danger. Don't bring terrorists here, don't give them rights.

Watching MSNBC is just so much fun, like you and Rich, they are in a complete state of denial.

No Terry and Rich, the MA vote had nothing to do with a repudiation of "o" and a vote against health care take over. No, not at all.

Wacky lefties, they are dumb, have dumb ideas and really for no good reason, want to FU this country, but are really fun to watch.

Glad they are not in charge anymore.
