This stupid idea or ideal that we the United States need to have political correctness, rather than COMMON SENSE.
Here is COMMON SENSE.
Not all Muslims are Terrorists.
99.9% of all terrorists attacks are committed by Muslims.
Here is an idea let's look for men between 18 and 35 with Muslim features, dress, and search them not little old ladies for explosives.

I support comprehensive profiling. There are myriad data points that should help ferret out the bad guys. "Racial profiling" gives the concept a bad name. Experts in the field will tell you that race is just one of many factors that should be considered.
The screening process - especially on international flights - needs to be thorough. It is also needs to be fast. Time is money and billions are collectively pissed away every year with able-bodied people standing in line producing nothing.
We can hire more screeners and add more machines. There is no excuse for long lines.
