The president’s Approval Index ratings fell three points in December following two-point declines in both October and November.
The number who Strongly Disapprove of the president’s performance inched up a point to 41% in December. The number who Strongly Approved fell two more points to 26%. That leads to a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15, a new low for Obama.
Also in December, the president’s total approval dropped two points to 46%. His total disapproval gained a point to 53%. It’s worth noting that the Approval Index ratings have generally proven to be a good leading indicator of the president’s overall approval ratings.

Be careful, Mark. If you bring up polls or America's relative admiration for our president, you'll be accused of watching Desperate Housewives and other feminine favorites.
I'll still note that Bam is holding up better than Reagan (and doing a better job, as well).
I am just turning the table on your behavior. You for so long quoted the polls to us and now all of a sudden you are not interested in them? You are being hypocritical again.
I posted one poll once (actually, I ended up posting 2008 + 2009 in a matter of two days). You have occasionally been "Mark Rasmussen" with your posts of the GOP pollster's daily tracking.
You also loved to talk about the Dow back when it was heading south. Now that the markets have performed so well under this adult administration, you never bring up the topic. Hmmmm, are double standards a Republican value?
