Criticism from the Republican's who spent us into the deficit,by the way inherited a surplus, and now want us to do nothing but sit back and wait for the almighty free economy by some majic formula I guess straighten itself out.
The same party that never vetoed a single spending bill in 8 years, somehow is now concerned about spending. Sorry that does not even pass the laugh test. Maybe your looking for a leader for your party, and your thinking is let's obstruct, obstruct, and wait for the next election. Let's not put a plan into action that is transparent, trackable, and actually helps people. I am so sick of these Republicans who think narrow mindness and intolerance is morality.

Jim, I ask you then why when Bush was President did you guys rush thru the 750 BILLION BAILOUT? Where was the FAITH IN THE ALMIGHTY ECONOMY then? I guess Goverment causeing distortion is only caused by Democrats. such hypocrisy!!!!

We reluctantly supported a "bailout" which was advertised as untying the credit markets frozen by bad debt from default loans (default swaps).
At no time did I or any conservative republican support huge bailouts or takeovers of industries. Let em fail, said I.

Bush was not a true Republican therefore everything he did, we don't own up to. Our fantasy True Conservative party did everything right except this party only exists in your mind.
We already tried a stimulus with the checks everyone received or will be credited to their tax returns. There is a difference between conservatives and many republicans. Most conservatives were against the first stimulus checks as well. Research it Terry and the truth will set you free.
Of course this is no stimulus package and there is no transparency. The public will not even be allowed to review Porkapalooza until after it is passed. I guess this is what is meant by "change". The "hope" must be, please all Americans hope with all your heart that our great promised savior Obamamessiah and is loyal minions in Congress are right that spending another trillion dollars when you add the interest cost in will turn the economy around!

And, if you cannot differentiate untying the financial system from a pork laden bill undoing welfare reform, paying off supporters which was passed without one conservative vote... then I guess you must be an average democrat waiting for "O" to fill you gas tank and get you a better job.
I saw that one to. Pretty amazing seeing actual footage of idiots actually believing becaus Barry was elected they don't have to work anymore and will still have a roof over their heads and their gas tanks filled. Maybe we should rethink bringing back a simple intelligence test for someone to vote.
I guess that would leave President Bush without a vote.
