Stop and Think

Got this the other day and found it a little disturbing...I would assume everyone else would agree

Remember "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" the next time you want supply side tax cuts. All they do is drain the Treasury.

Gritty, urban cities vote Democratic. What would you expect? That doesn't illustrate a thing.

The low tax South American countries were all run by right wingers for most of the 20th Century. The few folks of the wealthy enclaves kept their money and there was no public investment or progress. The nations all remain poor today in relative terms.

There is a point at which marginal rates are too high and will shrink revenues due to reduced incentive and compliance. 39.6% on the federal side is not that number. President Clinton proved that just a few years ago. It is a shame that Dubya ruined his fiscally responsible efforts.

I got it the Democrats are all wrong everytime everyway. Crime and Poverty are primarily Democratic traits. I made it up from my bootstraps why can't you? Oh! your Dad paid for your first car, college, helped with your first house, but I made it on my own.

Top Ten Poverty Cities

This has got to be one of the greatest American tragedies.

What do the top ten cities with the highest poverty rate all have in common?

Detroit, MI(1st on the poverty rate list) hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1961
Buffalo, NY(2nd) hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1954
Cincinnati, OH(3rd)...hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1984
Cleveland, OH(4th)...hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1989
Miami, FL(5th) has never had a Republican mayor
St. Louis, MO(6th)....hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1949
El Paso,TX(7th) has never had a Republican mayor,
Milwaukee, WI(8th)...hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1908
Philadelphia, PA(9th)...hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1952
Newark, NJ(10th)...hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1907

Einstein once said, 'The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

It is the disadvantaged who habitually elect Democrats --- yet are still disadvantaged!

Opinion: The disadvantaged remain disadvantaged because instead of working for it, they are looking for a liberal Democratic government to give them something.

How can a person be a 5th generation American and still be disadvantaged in this country?
