The Porkulus Bill will be the "O"s Iraq

When we went to war, there was stanch opposition. Believe it right or wrong, certainly the war was the start of the undoing of the Bush Presidency, in part by coalescing the opposition.

This abomination of a bill, which will undo years of welfare reform and has grown from $50 billion to over $800 billion (over a $trillion with tax consequences) and is laden with pork has unified the Conservative Movement and angered the American public. Schumer's comments today were the icing on the cake.

And because it is anti business and pro-paying back supporters it will not work.

This anvil will hang on the neck of the great "O" for the rest of his administration, as well as keep our children in debt forever.

And we still have Medicare and State bankruptcies to deal with. We do not have the money and we do not need this "stimulus" bill.

I'm glad you acknowledge the Bush administration was undone.

When Dubya ran deficits you described them as "silly" and said they really didn't matter. Now, all of a sudden, they are an anvil around the necks of our kids? My, how times change...

There are deficits and then there are DEFICITS. How much is several trillion dollars? How about trying to do what is right for the country for once instead of porking things up to repay your supporters with the first major bill of your Presidency. Talk about being partisan.

Obama is inheriting a massive, growing deficit. If he was inheriting the economy and budget that Dubya did, we wouldn't be talking about deficits.

The stimulus package will be passed without one earmark. The Republicans don't know how to act! "What? Discretionary spending without earmarks? What the ...!?"

Whack a mole, whack a Richie.

Richie, Bush inherited a recession (no not this recession) and as a capitalist I do not attribute the recession to your saint Clinton.

Then he got Dot-Bust then 9-11.

Now...we have been over this.

He cut taxes and the economy grew. 6 million jobs were created but never acknowledged by the press or your party.

However he gets a C- on his handling of the economy because he refused to shrink the size of government or limit pork spending. No excuses. Your boy enters with an F- and is going further downward.

I know you have a hard time listening, being full of "O" love and such but we need nothing. Just let the American people keep their money and this will, painful, work it self out.

For someone who has consistently fretted over deficits, you seem oblivious to this monstrosity.

Lastly, Bush mismanaged the war, entered on incorrect data but gets an A+ on terror management for understanding the threat to our country and demonstrating that we would take action. His execution of the war was excellent, yes, excellent but messy and fraught with wrong decisions as all wars inevitably involve.

"O" is destroying the fabric of this country. Did you hear the questions of those's in the audience who asked him for better jobs and more unemployment income?
