Anyone see the latest Newsweek with the cover, "We are all Socialists Now."
I find it interesting that smaller banks who were acting responsibly and remaining profitable were actually turning down the government's offer of millions of dollars because they didn't want the government telling them who they could and couldn't give loans to.
Good for them. There's still hope for capitalism yet.

Long live capitalism! And responsible banks...

When I look at Sweden's recapitalization of the banks and Japan's lost decades, I think we have a whole lot more to do. I hate to say it, but I think we are only in the second inning. We can all now begin to think in trillions.
