Just for you Terry more health care debate

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/healthcare/august_2009/support_for_congressional_health_care_reform_falls_to_new_low

Most notable, however, is the opposition among voters not affiliated with either party. Sixty-two percent (62%) of unaffiliated voters oppose the health care plan, and 51% are strongly opposed. This marks an uptick in strong opposition among both Republicans and unaffiliateds, while the number of strongly supportive Democrats is unchanged.

Hey Rich how about this for building our base? The Republican Party can just sit back and watch Barry single handedly destroy the Democratic Party.

The problem Obama has with health care is this. If a man came to your door and told you that your roof was going to leak and fail in ten years, would you like to fix it now? your answer would be see me in 9 years.
No one, Independents, Republicans, or Democrats want to stick their necks out and do something now, which would be courageous and brave and correct.

The internet has also changed America drastically because you can now post almost anything false and people believe it ala "illegal immigrants" being given free health care, "death squads" etc. The internet is full of so much untruth and at the speed of light message sending the truth can't catch up.
Look health care needs fixing no one disagrees, you and I don't like paying for other people going to the hospitals and not paying therefore charging up our costs.
As I have said before the problem Obama has is he is trying to fix up and add on to an old structure, while FDR and LBJ had the luxury of starting big programs with vacant ground.
It is harder to fix an exisiting structure than to start from scratch.
The Republican party of Southern white men missed the boat, and it is now being captained by Palin and Rush heading for the rocky shores of destruction.
Unless the Evangelican religion grows to huge numbers, I'll take our chances with "the Big Tent Party"

Look at the polls Terry before you comment on the future of conservatives in this country. You have to stop relying on those left wing websites you are addicted to. They are filling what gray matter you have left up with garbage. A mind is a terrible thing to waste on Moveon.org, the Huffington Post and the Daily Kos.
