Michael Vick was sentenced to 30 months ( 2 1/2 years ) for bankrolling a dog fighting business. Has never been seen at a dog fight nor killed any dogs according to testimony.
Dante Stallworth killed a guy, and was sentenced to 30 DAYS in Jail and released after 23 Days.
And we are worried about who gets on the the Supreme Court!! PLUS
I need a break from all this health care crap, because there isn't even a bill yet to argue about. So all this talk is about nothing, until you have the actual bill and can read it all the rest is just posturing by both sides.

Terry, The health care debate has never been about health care per se. It is about big government versus minimal government. It's the issue that separates all of us in the big picture.
Government has never gotten smaller under any President. Government is not the problem nor the solution.
In fact it was the lack of Government that caused this crisis on Wall Street Banking.
More Government regulation would have helped that is indisputable.
Government grew under Reagan, Clinton, Bush 1 and 2. What we are lacking is good government,
I am for term limits.
Come to Washington work together and do good and moral work and then go back home and make a living like the rest of us.
The major problem Obama has with health care is he is trying to renovate and add on to an existing structure not build something from scratch which FDR and LBJ were able to do.
It is always harder to renovate a old building than starting with a fresh piece of land.
What a dip, both Terry and Rich.
Rich somehow want to decide in 2009 what are appropriate sin taxes, how dumb.
And Terry want to well... support the Republican plan. Remember, Terry, our side wants the congress to read the plan prior to taking over a large segment of our economy.
Rep. Dingall said it would take a lawyer to read the thing and laughed at his servantry.
Terry, I thought you were going to do us a favor and not talk about health care anymore.
There were no humans that Michael Vick could pay off like dante Stallworth was able to do.
The difference in the crimes comes down to MALICE and INTENT. I'm NOT defending Donte Stallworth but the bottom line is that he exhibited horrible judgement, not malice and intent. If I have a couple drinks with dinner, based on my size, I could potentially blow a .08...Stallworth was reckless and irresponsible but he did not INTEND to get into his car and kill someone that night... Now, Michael Vick...he willfully, freely...even happily...bankrolled a criminal enterprise. In addition, testimony might have shown he was "never at a dogfight" but there was testimony that he particpated in the hanging, drowning, and electocution of dogs deemed to be inferior fighters. There is a special place in hell for Michael Vick.
All that being said...I think the bigger issue is that playing professional sports for a living, in my opinion, should be treated as a PRIVELEDGE in this country...not a right. I don't believe there should be any room in any professional sports league for criminals and felons.
