As you may recall many of the conservative contributors to this blog have on numerous times stated that President Bush made many errors. That he was not as conservative as we thought he was.
However we have yet to see either of you admit to the facts that this administration is nothing like what you both thought it would be. Did you both think that within the first year they would already be using force and intimidation to silence those that disagreed with their policies? We are seeing Chicago Politics at their worst on a national scale and it is really ugly. I warned you many times before the election and now we are getting the kind of slimy, manipulating, arrogant elitist policies that are turning more and more Americans away from this administration every day. It is certainly not Fox News and Talk Radio that are doing these things but the Democrats themselves that are lying to us and villifying those who speak out in opposition.

Presumably Pelosi knows what cameras are, and that they were being aimed at her during this event. Did she think nobody would dig this up? Did she think she wouldn’t have to eat her own words? Did she think (at all)?
Again just like her BS on not being told by the CIA about the aggressive interrogation techniques used on a few Al-Queda operatives. No wonder her poll numbers are dropping faster than Barry's she is even a bigger lier than he is.
Are you two proud of your party now? What do you think their end game is? It certainly can not be what they promised when they put their hand on that bible and swore to uphold the constitution of the United States. Are you happy with the facist / communist tactics that they are using on a daily basis from asking people to rat each other out to sending SEIU thugs to beat up health care protestors. Are you both glad that this administration is trying to take this country 180% away from the teaching of the founding fathers?
On a daily basis Barry is demonstrating to us that he is not as smart as some of you thought he is and that he lacks wisdom. Please you can tell us how disappointed you really are, it will make you sleep better at night.

Thanks Mark, I sleep very well at night knowing my phone calls are not tapped anymore, fewer Americans will die in an illegal war in Iraq, CIA agents will not be outed by the vice- president. Attorney Generals will be judged by performance not politics, but enough of Bush as you say he even fooled you guys.
Obama has not met my expectations yet but it is only a few months into his term.
I believe the country is center right and believe I am too by the way (surprise to many ) Throwing stones both ways is not the way to go.
This blog is a very good example both sides Terry and Richie shouting from our island to Dr. Jim and Mark shouting from your island, no one changing their position just stating their biased opinion.
I have said all along the small governmeent, low taxes, conservative position is not held by either party that is why I am confounded that that conservatives keep hanging with the party that does not support your positions.
I believe Pelosi, Reid, and Barney Frank do not represent the Democratic Party I believe in, why can't you say Palin, Rush, and Fix news doen't represent your party.
You notice how Mark has not come clean and acknowledged that our national debt and deficit is of Republican construction? It is a hard admission to make when theoretically, fiscal discipline is your calling card.
The GOP has not been the party of fiscal responsibility since Eisenhower - the last Republican president to balance his budget. Wow - 50 years ago!
Terry & I part ways in this topic. I am proud of Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi. I do not let perfect be the enemy of good. God bless Obama. I am delighted that he is our president. Repeal the 22nd Amendment!
We are a center/right country? I disagree. The greater the voter turn-out, the more it seems we are a center/left country if not just plain center.
FDR was beloved and his policies popular. Ronald Reagan was beloved and his policies unpopular. It was ironic - for eight years his popularity ran far higher in polls than his positions. The country was far more in tune with Walter Mondale's agenda, yet Reagan beat him in 49 states. This was a triumph of personality, not philosophy.
Jim and Mark can't say that Palin, Rush and Fox News don't represent their party because they do! They are all joined at the hip. The extremists prevail on that side of the aisle. The moderate Republicans are history. That, my friends, is why they are in the wilderness.
Rich just keep drinking that Kool-Aid. The heavy amount of glue that you have sniffed in the past is starting to show. If you truly believe what you just stated in this last remark than there is no hope left for you what so ever. Please sell your possessions and move to a country that was not founded on the ideals that this one was.
