Actually - a lot of good ideas. I'm not sure about across the board cuts in this environment, but you offset it with a lot of other stimulus. My only outright objection is the 10% cut in marginal rates. The government needs the money and such cuts are not sufficiently stimulative ($.30/$1).

I would like to see added spending NOW while eliminating programs so that the permanent budget is reduced.

I'd also add carbon taxes to the mix - we need to address energy now, while it is relatively cheap. This is an imperative for geopolitical, defense and environmental reasons.

All that said, this was the Good Doc's best post in a long time.
