NOT QUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT
Mark says Obama clearly not qualified to be President. I thought the choice was between someone who graduated 5th from the bottom of his class, against someone who was the president of the HARVARD LAW SCHOOL AND GRADUATED AT THE TOP OF HIS CLASS. Did I miss something, who would you hire for your company Mark ?

Terry, I see that my post raided your blood pressure. No need to shout this is not a town hall meeting about health care reform.
So let us discuss your post. When you hire someone for a job should you take experience into account? What weight should education be given over experience and wisdom? How about character should this be considered?
You make a statement that Barry was President of Harvard Law School. That is incorrect. How do you know he graduated at the top of his class? I don't believe that has been made public. How did he even get into Harvard Law School? By his own accounts he was in a wasted stupor a lot of his time at Columbia for undergrad. Have you read any of his scholarly writings? No because they have not been released to the public. Could his entire educational experience be way overated due to his being given enormous preferences due to racial quotas? It certainly is possible given that they have not released any of his transcripts to the public that I know of.
Let us discuss his experience. He was only a first term Senator who did not author any meaningful legislation. Barry himself stated that he was not qualified to be the President. This has been pointed out on this blog before.
If Barry was interviewing for a CEO job of a major company prior to his being elected President his resume would be looked upon as being very light due to his lack of experience. With experience comes knowledge and wisdom. These are things that he is certainly been demonstrating that he lacks. All the arrogance in the world cannot overcome this fact.
So the answer is that I would definitely hire John McCain over Barry due to the strenghth of his experience. At this stage of the game their educations are so far in the rear view mirror that they are almost irrelevant.
I can guarantee you Terry if there was a job posting put out for President of The United States that the preferred job experience would not be 2 years as a US Senator. It is very naive of you to even post this comment. Remember everyone said how smart Jimmy Carter was as well and that Ronald Reagan was uneducated yet look how their respective Presidencies turned out. Barry is going to end up making Jimmy Carter look like a good President and when Barry is out of office please reflect back on this post.
"Not qualified to be president" post is clearly argumentative and is really a moot question at this point. I too felt that Obama's lack of experience was problematic and I wanted him to groom himself to govern after Hillary's eight years.
However - something happened along the way to Hill's inauguration. So far, so good with the man clearly lacking experience. The success or failure of Health Care bill is huge - it will set the tenor for the next year if not three. He has surrounded himself with extremely capable aides - Rahm was a key pick - and we will see if he can hurdle this shortcoming.
Dubya had more experience in high office, but lacked the intellectual curiosity imperative to such a demanding job. We want a policy wonk in the Oval Office and we now have one, after eight years without a wonk in sight.
No, Mark. McCain would not have qualified. Plus - haven't you heard? He was born in PANAMA!
At least he has a birth certificate. It also happens to be on US Government property in Panama. Barry can't even produce a legitimate birth certificate. Won't make his transcripts public nor his scholarly writings. He is certainly not a policy wonk he is a liberal zealot surrounded by other liberal wack jobs like Rahn who are so arrogant that they must be shocked that there continuing relabeling of health care reform is not being spooned up and greedily swallowed by the American public that they so loathe.
Being born on American property makes you a natural-born American? So, people overseas just need to rush to the nearest McDonalds for childbirth and the baby will be a natural born American?
BTW - I consider McCain "natural born" as well as George Romney, who was born in Mexico and spent much of his childhood there. My point is that Republicans love top make sh** up when it suits their purposes. You didn't hear Democrats crying "citizenship!" about Romney in '68 or McCain ever.
