For the record, is the father of our blog now a Libertarian or is he still deep within the Republican base?
Like our friend Tom (who I miss), I am a Republican looking for a conservative.I also state that the difference between the two (Conservative Republican's and Libertarian's) is razor thin.I bet Mark would agree.
I disagree - The GOP base is populated by the religious right, who hold no purchase whatsoever in the Libertarian ranks.A Libertarian wouldn't have ever fawned over Saint Sarah. A Libertarian would consider Bush a miserable failure and would deeply resent his illegal wiretaps, etc.
