Clinton

Eek, there I said it.

Hey Richie, didn't your boy state, the era of big government is over while creating thoses surpluses were created? Didn't he sign welfare reform? Didn't he trangulate? Didn't he support free trade?

Your current candidate (note political correctness, see above), plans to renegotiate free trade, restart welfare and promote a biggger government?

Being that you are all about the deficit and somehow think that-as you stated-fiscal reality will temper his plans. Shouldn't you be voting for Shadegg?

You my friend are FOS. There I said it and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Clinton did say "The era of big government is over" and then he acted on it. Problem is, Bush + GOP Congress came in a grew government in a big way.

Obama has pandered on NAFTA and I think he'd like to improve the agreement, however, it's not going to happen due to all the moving parts.

Restart welfare? Huh? You make stuff up.

Obama will not make government larger. The adults will be back in charge - the Dems will put our financial house in order. Once again, the good guys will clean up the GOP mess.

I already voted for Bob Lord. Shadegg is a tool. My ballot is in.

This reminds me of '32. I look forward to 62 years (±) of a Democratic era.

Richie...giving a tax cut to 95% many of which do not pay taxes and therefore will get "money for nothing" is WELFARE!

How you two write with emotion and fail to address basic questions remains amazing.

"Obama has pandered on NAFTA and I think he'd like to improve the agreement, however, it's not going to happen due to all the moving parts." and you think this is Presidental? You think this is going to put our house back in order?

Heavens.

Ganem as Pollyanna?

Obama is stimulating the economy with the tax cuts - including Reagan's EITC - and PAYING FOR IT with higher taxes for you and me.

Isn't that an amazing concept - PAYING for a government initiative!? Just imagine if the Republicans had done that with prescription health care benefits. Just imagine if they had ever done it! We wouldn't be $10 Trillion in hock...

Gosh darn it, would you answer or admit or something to a question.

We have argued about socialism, you have denied he is trying to creat a socialist society. We have argued that he is restarting welfare. When I put these things right in front of you, you...deflect.

Gary has explained human nature, you have...Deflected and denied.

Imagine a Rasberry.

And yes I will answer your questions on the above post (unless Mark, who I am sure is rabid over your question, gets to it first.)

YES - Obama is presidential. All candidates pander. Paul Tsongas called Bill Clinton "Pander Bear."

Republicans live to pander; "Cut taxes!" and "Balance the budget" in the same breath (and somehow with a straight face).

Johnny Mac says he will balance the budget in four years! He lends support to Joe the Plumber. They have a lot in common, especially concerning credibility.

YES - Dems will put financial house back in order. It could be painful and they could lose the House as they did in 1994 after courageous 1993 Budget Bill. There is much to do and Dems will do it.
