I hate to get in the way of Mark's posts but just a moment to draw the blogs attention to tonight's debate and Mr. "O"s comment about "we need to get the auto makers to make the right cars" and "we can save the average American $2500 on their health care costs". Rich and Terry, God love ya stand up, if this is not Socialism, what is? Terry, the 90% stuff..its their damn money. Who are you to say how they should spend it and who they should name in their will. Also, please pay attention (sorry for the placating tone, but darn), the money will get to those people more efficiently via the economy rather than the government. Your tone makes evil those who are successful. The poor truly depend on the successful, who are net givers not takers. Argh!
Rich, if "spreading the wealth" is not Marxism then what is? (from those according to ability to those according to need). Marxism should truly be defined as, from those with, to us, to those we wish to sedate and control to keep us powerful. How is "O" proposals, and your two writings for that matter, not keeping with a "Marxist' philosophy.

Your man Barry is sleeping with someone who has despised the country she lives in for most of her life. Your man also has attended a so called church for 20 years and claimed as his spiritual mentor one of the most anti-american figures we have seen in some time. Your man had is political career start in the living room of people who were trying violently to overthrow the American government with bombs. Rememember actually doing not talking about it. Your man has been a member of a marxist political organization. Todd Palin was involved in the 90s with this group not Sara Palin and Sara Palin is a "Vice Presidential" candidate while your man Barry is asking people to vote for him to be the "President". Which affiliations are more important regarding the decision that people have to make in early November? The one involving a VP candidates husband that allegedly took place in the early 90s or the affiliations of a Presidential candidate that were still in place this year? If the main stream media would just do their job of reporting everything instead of covering for Barry maybe the American public could make an informed decision. It is already getting to look a lot like Barry has one based on his control over the Press. Sliding into Socialism.
