I wonder what might have happened had questions like this been asked before now.

KFYI - "The Valley's Talk Station"

I watched that yesterday. It wasn't an interview - it was an attempt to argue and grab headlines. Lets let Move On interview McCain and ask him if his PTSD has gotten in the way of the campaign? Have any of his old girlfriends from the first marriage looked him up now that he is a presidential candidate? etc...

These were not personal questions!

These are the exact issues we are arguing on this blog.

Jimmy - If interviewers all asked those questions, like that, Obama would win by 20 points. She was rude and way over the top. This stuff only works with your base - all the normal people reject it.

When/if you lose this thing it will be because the independents deserted you. They HATE Palin!

I don't agree with 90% of what Obama wants to do with the economy, but I thought that Biden looked very sharp in that interview and the interviewer acted like she was auditioning for 60 minutes. She's a hack.

No different than Katie Couric was with Palin.

So finally a reporter didn't sing Kumbaya and pitch nothing but softballs. Now the left is all up in arms. Welcome to the republican world of politics.

By the way Rich you don't need Move On to ask the questions you already have the entire MSM except for Fox News on your side. Barry cries about Fox News, Boo Hoo if not for Fox News I would be 20 points ahead. What a crock this entire campaign has been. Especially Pravda the leader of the Barry cheerleading section. They fired Jason Blair for less. They have written countless hit pieces about McCain and Palin that couldn't hold any water. When challenged they print retractions or corrections in the back of the paper. Disgusting what the state of the media has become.

"entire MSM media except for Fox News" is an incorrect reference. Fox News is not MSM...

I'm sorry, but the so-called liberal media at least pretends to be fair and objective, however, it's hard to watch Fox News and take anything they say seriously when it's so obviously biased in favor of the right wing.
And I'm a conservative!
(I know--blasphemy.)

Yes and no Gary.

First of all, watch, Rich, I am having a disagreement with Gary, we will discuss some points and both come away with more information. He will read and react to what I write.

So anyway...Gary you ignorant slut.

Conservatives watch FOX and Liberals watch MSNBC (and if you have not watched the gay chick, you don't know what bias is-unless you watch Hannity)

It is like we go to separate corners watch, meet each other to discuss, change nothing and go back to our corners.

My friend Mark does not like the MSM, but I wonder how much people rely on them anymore for basic news. I have not watched a major network or local newscast for years.

I will acknowledge your point (see how people can play nice Rich) in terms of television but the Metropolitan papers are beyond pale. The recent hit piece which was done by the NYT on Cindy M. was just bullshit.

Any interviewers question that starts with "Aren't you embarrassed by" is argumentative - it is not a good faith question. Surprise, surprise, her husband is a former Republican political consultant.
